A vision of excellence was put into action when SOLAR CHEMICALS was founded by its chairman Shri Prem Manohar in the year 1950. Ever since the company has been serving a diverse industrial sectors mainly to leather Industry besides that to Textiles, Sugar, Rubber, Paper and Pharmaceutical Industries. In the process, the company has grown to have two industrial chemicals manufacturing units at kalian, in Maharastra. Today the company has also a large distribution network with sales offices across the country.

To meet the growing needs of the leather, Solar chemicals started producing sodium sulphide right from its inception in 1950. Later on added few other Chemicals namely Sodium Bichromate, Sulphur powder & Roll and Pesticides. Later, in the year 1982, the company launched its basic chrome acceptance as the one producing quality products among the leather manufacturers. Now our basic chrome sulphate marketed under the brand name of “BLUE DIAMOND” is well known. Our client base includes some of the leading leather manufacturing firms of the country.
